Market study shows that many coiners save their coins as heirlooms for their family. To have a time capsule, equipped with documentation about the family member, would be the greatest keepsake that a coiner could leave for their descendants. The packaging would be a sealed tin/ galvanised steel case made to store the coin, certificate, a booklet and whatever else the customer sees fit.Our processOur team researched several stylistic avenues. To present a collection of time capsule concepts, we explored ideas of classic, retro and modern interpretations of time capsules that would best suit the showcasing of the client’s coin, booklet and certificate, and display these items in an attractive way.Conclusion:Our concepts focused on metal cases, to convey a sense of timelessness and longevity. We included detailed embossing and printing, with specific removable fitments to showcase the coin, booklet and certificate.
